I&#039;ve got the SX and have been trying to help. To solve your first problem i think you need to enter
#sudo modprobe ide-generic

		<description>I have one of these, I bought it last week in Akihabara. I tried to install Ubuntu (Hardy, 4.08) using a Live USB (creating it using the Unetbootin program and the .iso image). It runs ok, but when I try to install it, the hard drive is not detected (neither the ehternet). The fdisk says that /dev/sdb cannot be opened. The fdisk from Fedora 9 says that the partition table is worng. Any ideas on how to fix it ? Thanks ! (I think it has something to do with the SATA drives and ubuntu).</description>
