Well, it seems that the race for the Ultra Low Cost Mobile PCs has slowed down again. MSI just raised the price for it's MSI WIND.
“Since the cost of the battery and materials raise (sp), we had no choice but adjust the MSRP to $499.99 with 3-cell battery and $549.99 with 6-cell.”
According to UMPCPortal, the WiBrain L1 launch will feature 2 variants, one running Menlow at 1.1GHz and one running 1.3GHz. It will also ad an SD card slot. The usual 30Gb or 60Gb drive options are available and you’ll also have SSD options for 64GB!
