With everything in the Asus Eee PC 1000 being bigger than the Eee class used us to, the HDD is no exception. Some have to hd a bigger SSD drive. A 40 GB SSD version of the Eee 1000 is available at Amazon, $50 more expensive than the classic 80GB HDD.
