The UMPC world has a new arrival to the scene brought to you by Viliv called the S7. It is a lightweight netbook/tablet with a respectable 7" screen. It has everything else a normal netbook would have just twice as small. They include a larger keyboard for a more comfortable feel. Also included is a standard Atom processor, 1 GB of RAM, 60 GB hard drive, and can run Windows XP. It is very similar to the new Sony VIAO P with its 1024x600 touch screen but has the added bonus of also being a tablet PC with its swivel out screen. Hopefully we will see this model in the states by the end of this year.

Rumored: Asus Eee PC 701SDX
Pictures have leaked of the Asus Eee PC 701SDX prices at a very low price of $300. Asus Eee PC's are going back to how they began by making affordable netbooks. The pictures reveal an upgraded chassis and a missing webcam (featured on the 701SD). I can do with out the webcam for a 7-inch netbook for only $300. We will have to wait to see how low Asus will go.
